Our Story: My Grandmother (Ma Eva) and Great Aunt (Auntie) used to say, "Give me my flowers while I am alive". Both were full of life and cared about others. Unfortunately, they both lived with chronic lifestyle illnesses. I wanted to create a healthy lifestyle movement that lived the spirit of their quote, while also encouraging healthy living within one's current life circumstances and cultures.
Our Mission: We will honor those who have passed away from chronic lifestyle illness such as heart disease, Type II diabetes, certain cancers, smoking-related illnesses, etc. and those who are currently living with these chronic illnesses by engaging in a healthy lifestyle...the Homeostatic Lifestyle. We will give flowers at random events as a means of spreading beauty of healthy living.
Our Lifestyle: The Homeostatic Lifestyle (HSL) addresses multiple behaviors that collectively support your body in its constant quest for homeostasis (sleep, eating and hydration, activity, stress management and mental outlook, and success planning). These five areas are grounded in biological and psychological science. So when you actively engage in the five areas, you will be as healthy as possible. It's that simple. Learn It. Live It. Love It
